Facility Status

Optimus Universal is currently developing its dedicated machining facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

The final equipment selection and installation programme are subject to technical validation, customer demand, financing and commercial approval.

Horizontal Machining

Planned four-axis HMC capability for:

Pump and valve bodies
Gearbox and bearing housings
Hydraulic manifolds
Multi-face machined castings
Industrial housings and complex prismatic components

Vertical Machining

Planned four-axis VMC capability for:

Jigs and fixtures
Base plates
Machine components
Mould and tooling components
Medium-sized castings
Low-to-medium-volume industrial parts

Turn-Mill Machining

Planned turn-mill capability for:

Shafts
Sleeves
Flanges
Valve and hydraulic components
Connectors and adapters
Cylindrical components with milled features, flats, slots or cross-holes

Development and Pilot Projects

Before accepting a requirement, our technical team reviews:

Engineering drawing
Material specification
Tolerances and GD&T
Quantity and batch frequency
Inspection requirements
Surface treatment requirements
Delivery schedule
Tooling and fixture requirements

Selected development and pilot projects may be evaluated through approved manufacturing partners before transfer to dedicated Optimus production capability.
